Swansea University’s new Bay Campus, located on the 65 acre former BP Transit site in Neath Port Talbot, celebrated yet another award when the project won ‘Best Urban Regeneration Project’ at the Brownfield Briefing Awards 2016. The prestigious awards were held last week at The Grange Tower Bridge Hotel and were presented by BBC Science Correspondent David Shukman.
The Bay Campus has won numerous awards since the Campus opened to students in September 2015 including being crowned winner of the ‘Regeneration’ Category at the RICS Wales Awards 2016 in May 2016.
Prosurv were appointed by the Developer, St. Modwen, to provide professional Employer’s Agent, Quantity Surveying and CDM Services in the construction of the first two phases of the new Bay Campus for Swansea University, which were completed in September 2015 and January 2016 respectively.
Prosurv are now currently managing Phase 1C of the project which comprises of an additional 543 student bedrooms due to complete in summer 2017.
